Ministry Leaders

Pastor Scott Buell

Scott has been the pastor at Auburn Church of the Nazarene since September, 2001.  He has been a pastor for over 20 years and feels this is his life's calling.  Scott has graduated from college, seminary, and another seminary in order to prepare for this ministry and to stay current as a pastor.

Scott and Donna, his wife, just celebrated their 25th wedding aniversary.  They have always taken a team approach to leading a church.  Donna has led in the worship, children's, and now missions ministries.  She works for a dry foods company as the head of quality control.  Scott and Donna have two children.  Katie is a sophomore in college and Nicholas is a sophomore in high school.

Scott's passion as a pastor is to be and lead the congretaion into authenticity as they serve Jesus together. 

 

Worship Leader - Trisha Shepardson

Trisha prepares and leads our worship experience for each Sunday morning.  She has been with Auburn Nazarene for 6 years.  Before that she graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a degree in Church Music.

Trisha is married to Mark, who grew up in this congregation.  They will soon mark their first anniversary. Mark ministers with the teen group and is active in the worship ministries as well. 

Trisha is a gifted worship leader who seeks to worship the Lord and help others to do so.

 

Youth Leaders - Dave and Tracy Dominick

Dave and Tracy have been leading our youth ministries for almost a decade.  That's a lot of teen events!  They are passionate about seeing teenagers thrive in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Dave and Tracy have been married for ?? years.  They are the parents to Kyra, who is a beautiful 4 year old, and Dave, III (alternately known as "Davey three sticks" and "Trip.") who is nearly 2 years old.

Not only are Dave and Tracy great youth ministers they lead a worship ministry that is active in this congregation and others.  It is called "House on the Rock Ministries."

 

Minister in Residence - Paul Colgan

Paul is in studies to be ordained as a minister.  But that does not stop him from being active in ministry now!  Paul leads our adult Sunday School class and a HOPE Group, what we call our small groups, on Monday evenings.  Along with those he often preaches both here and in other congregations.

Paul is married to Jody and they have three awesome daughters: Elizabeth, Rebecca, and Sarah.
